Terms of Service
The terms for using Blubook to connect, communicate and coordinate professional opportunities.
1. Using Blubook
These terms govern your use of services provided by Blubook Technologies Limited. You must be at least 18, provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure and have authority to act for any organisation you represent. Verification may be required for particular accounts or features. Contact us at hello@blubook.app.
2. Network Beta
Blubook Network Beta is an early version for testing profiles, professional connections, messages, groups and event coordination. Features may change, contain errors or become unavailable. Keep your own copies of important agreements and records. Beta access does not guarantee future availability or a particular launch date.
The Network Beta does not process payments, collect deposits, hold funds or offer withdrawals. Fees and financial terms recorded in it are for coordination. Any payment for professional services is arranged directly between the relevant parties outside Blubook. Disabled payment or paid-promotion features are not promises of an available service.
3. Professional conduct and safety
Do not use Blubook for unlawful activity, fraud, impersonation, fake opportunities, misleading credentials or manipulated reviews. Harassment, threats, hate, exploitation, sexual abuse material, spam and content that infringes another person's rights are prohibited. Do not misuse private information, try to access another user's account or disrupt the service.
Use the reporting and blocking controls available in the app, or contact support, to report abuse. We may investigate reports and remove content or restrict accounts to protect users and the service. We may act immediately where needed for safety or legal reasons. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.
4. Your content and privacy
You retain ownership of content you supply. You give Blubook permission to host, process, display and share it as needed to operate the features and audiences you choose. You must have the necessary rights and permissions to upload material or share other people's information. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
Our Privacy Policy explains data use, sharing and retention. Public posts and shared content may be copied by recipients. Respect other users' privacy when saving or sharing information.
5. Events, bookings and third parties
Blubook helps people connect and record arrangements. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, we are not the performer, agency, employer or contracting party for a booking between users. You are responsible for checking the other party's suitability, agreeing scope, fees, expenses and cancellation terms, and meeting your own legal and professional obligations.
Ratings, recommendations and badges describe information recorded in the service; they do not guarantee future performance, insurance, safety or suitability. Third-party links and services have their own terms. Payment-enabled versions may provide additional terms at the point of use.
6. App licence
TestFlight users should read the Blubook Beta Licence Agreement together with Apple's TestFlight terms. For an App Store release without a separate custom licence, Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement governs the app licence. These service terms do not remove rights provided by Apple or by law.
7. Ending your use
You may stop using Blubook at any time and request account deletion using the account controls or support. Deletion does not cancel agreements you have made with other people. Necessary shared, booking, safety and legal records may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy.
8. Responsibility and your rights
We work to provide a useful, reliable service, but cannot promise uninterrupted beta access, error-free information or any particular work opportunity. You remain responsible for decisions and agreements you make with other users. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or limits your statutory consumer rights.
9. Changes and questions
We may update these terms as the service develops and will give notice where required. Material changes apply prospectively, subject to applicable law. If you do not wish to continue under updated terms, you can stop using the service. Questions and complaints can be sent to hello@blubook.app.
